I hope I can do this show!
Hey everyone! I recently have gotten really into Zombie Prom...I'm trying to get my school to do it for our spring musical next year...chances are looking pretty good actually!

I was just wondering if anyone had any sheet music from the show?

Also, wondering if anyone has a video of their production...I have never seen the show on stage...I have only listened to the CD...I would love to see it & all the pictures that i have seen posted look awesome! :)

Anyways...If anyone has either of those things please let me know...I will set up some kind of trade or something with you!

Or if anyone has any interesting or fun zombie prom facts to share...that would be great too! :)

Zombie Mania!
Greetings all my fellow Zombie fans. I just finished performing in "Zombie Prom" as Miss Strict this past weekend at my High School. It was our Senior Play, and I had a BLAST! Oh!It was so much fun! I'm looking at pictures of other people's productions and the lighting and costumes are amazing. I think that no matter who puts on this play, and no matter the budget, it ALWAYS looks amazing! Did anyone else play Miss Strict? And could anyone possibly make icons? I'd be so grateful! Thanks!

hello fellow zombies
Hey everybody. My name's Jason, I go to school at William Paterson University in Wayne NJ. On April 6-11, my school is putting on our production of Zombie Prom. I am currently cast as Josh and one of the Motorwise Gasoline Guys. So far, i must say working on this musical is really fun. I hope it stays this way, and i'm glad to have found a community of others involved in this show.

Is there anyone currently doing Zombie Prom or anyone that has access to the vocal score still? I'm trying to get a hold of some of the piano score. I'd be willing to pay for any copying done and shipping and stuff.

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thought you guys might be interested in some of the new stuff for the Zombie Prom movie. Here is the trailer:

There is also a music video floating around by RuPaul called "People are People," which has some good 3 or 4 minutes of footage from the movie. If I can find it again, I'll post it up.

Also, make sure to check out the updated site! http://www.zombiepromthemovie.com

The Weirder the Better
Let me introduce myself, I make, rent, and sell horror and haunted house props in Los Angeles. I have corpses, body parts, bones, and headstones piled on every flat surface and crammed into every crevace of my house. My neighbors have called the cops on me on multiple occasions, including one full out SWAT team because I have a tendancy to take my work home with me.
It's a good life though, I've worked on some of the weirdest projects imaginable, and chatted with the folks who do the real creepy work.
So I want the live journal community to know, if you ever need to buy a dead body, or maybe just rent one for the weekend, I'm your man. Go ahead, ask for anything, the weirder the better.
I also perform in some of these B movies. Here's a shot of me in the new "Night of the Living Dead 3D"

And I drive a hearse that's been used in all kinds of productions, including one porn.

I'm also a total flickr junky, and started a community for scream queens and other beautiful horrors.

So that's my introduction, stay tuned for updates on all manner of B movies in production and whatever atrocities I'm cooking up in my shop.

ugh. so good. tomorrow is costume parade. the costumer gave each of the four couples a core color to wear throughout the show. joey and coco are red. ginger and josh are orange. candy and jake are pink. and me and jonny are yellow (and green at the prom). we're all so excited. our costumer's name is clark Mires and he's phenomenal. LOVES IT!

hey guys. um, i know some of you have performed zombie prom and i was wondering if you had the cd with all the songs and a cd with just the music on it? if any of you do um could you make me copies of them? i'll send you two blank cds and $15. $5 for each cd that you can do whatever you want with and $5 for shipping if you need it. i would really really appriciate it cause i'm trying to do 'the c word' for districts and i can't find the music and the momster has a thing about ordering things online, you know, not letting me, so i have no way of getting the regular cd. uh, my email address is drowninghero17@aol.com and my screen name is drowninghero17. please and thank you :)

Zombie Prom comes to Texas
Hey Zombie Prom-alumni,
Our high school in Colleyville, TX is performing Zombie Prom in 2 weeks. The show is so fun, and everything is going great....half the cast is sick right now, but we'll all be better by opening night.
If anyone has any pictures or even video from their group's production of this show, I'd love to see it. I'm even considering driving out to California with some of the cast to see one theatre group's show of Zombie Prom in April or May. Hopefully all is well and none of you have forgotten your Zombie Roots

p.s. - i play Joey :-D

Is there anyone in this community that was in the CCBC production of Zombie Prom?

2:03 pm
Hey guys! I've been watching the community for a while, and finally decided to join. I've been a ZP freak for a while now, and I'm ecstatic cause I get to go see it next saturday!

I also had a request, if possible.

I'm in a singing troupe this year at my college and we go around and have shows filled with Showtunes, and our theme this year is love. Of course we have the classics, like Suddenly Seymour, the new like Fine Fine Line and Fantasies Come True, but I wanted to throw in a cult classic. I was wondering if there was anyone here who was in the show and had access to a conductor/piano score, to make copies of "Voice in the Ocean" and "How Can I say Goodbye to Love."

If ANYONE could do it, I would be eternally grateful.

Your fellow Zombie fan,

Hey guys, I'm just posting to say that I'm playing Candy in my studio's production of Zombie Prom. I absolutely love the show and my role, it's going so well.

What's your favorite song from the show? Mine's probably "The C Word," "Blast from the Past," or "Good as it Gets". Oh god I love this show so much!!

Hello Zombie Prombians!

I'm recently obsessed with Zombie Prom due to my friend Rob being cast as one of the boys (forget which) and making me listen to the music over and over.

Anyway, I have a question for y'all. I'm in a musical theatre revue group (read: show choir) and I'm really interested in doing either Rules, Regulations and Respect, or Zombie Prom (the finale) or Jonny Don't Go as one of the numbers for my group. However, as everyone knows, the sheet music is UNAVAILABLE! (Boooooo....)

So, being a livejournal afficianado, I figured I'd turn here. See, I figured maybe someone still had the music from when they did the show and would be willing to scan / copy it and send it do me somehow. I could totally paypal you money to send it. It's be a big weird favor for a stranger, I know, but we're dying here!

Any offers? Thanks guys! :oD

Zombie Prom the Movie?
Dose anyone know anything about this? In RuPaul's Web Blog, he wrote (and I quote):

i'm busy filming ZOMBIE PROM, so i ain't got time to blog.

Can this be? Google shows no sign of such a movie, and IMDB has NOTHING about it!! But, I have faith in Ru. What do you think?
